PPS Engineer

On behalf of our client, a leading player in the international airport sector, we are looking for a Passenger Processing System (PPS) Engineer to join an exciting project in Crete, Greece. This role is critical in supporting the design, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of passenger processing systems at Crete Airport. Your Day-to-Day:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand airport operational needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Support the package manager in system design, value engineering, and compliance with Greek & European standards.
• Work closely with sub-system providers to ensure seamless integration with airport infrastructure.
• Oversee system installation, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
• Monitor site-level material status and validate deliveries.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and integration of IT systems.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, airlines, police, and other airport stakeholders.
• Ensure quality control by inspecting materials, equipment, and workmanship.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in executing IT projects, in an airport environment.
• Strong knowledge of airport systems such as CUPPS, CUSS, BRS, MDS, FIDS, AODB, ACDM & IMB.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
