FIDS & IPTV Engineer

On behalf of our client, a leader in the international airport sector, we are looking for a FIDS & IPTV Engineer to support a major ICT project at Crete Airport. This role is responsible for the design, installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS) and IPTV (IP Television) systems. Your Day-to-Day

• Work with stakeholders to understand FIDS & IPTV system requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support the package manager in system design, value engineering, and ensuring compliance with Greek & European standards.
• Collaborate with sub-system providers to integrate FIDS & IPTV with airport infrastructure.
• Oversee system installation, ensuring adherence to local and international standards.
• Manage subcontractors, ensuring work is completed on time and meets quality standards.
• Monitor site-level material status and validate deliveries.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and system integration.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, airlines, police, and other airport stakeholders.
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with technical standards.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in executing IT projects, preferably in an airport environment.
• Strong knowledge of FIDS and IPTV systems deployment.
• Previous experience in airport system projects or operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
