IT Support - Help Desk

On behalf of our client, an independent E&P company focused on developing resources in the Mediterranean, we are currently looking for an IT Support - Helpdesk , to join its team.

Your day-to-day

  • Mix in First & Second level troubleshooting and support for IT issues
  • Support and maintain company΄s infrastructure
  • Prepare, inventory, and deploy end-users’ equipment (laptop/workstations)
  • Provide technical user support across the group (on the phone, via email, in person, or through remote access)
  • Provide quick resolution and excellent customer service
  • Set up accounts for new users
  • Repair and replace equipment as necessary
  • Handle communication with hardware and service providers to fulfill IT procurement requests
  • Document hardware and software problems (building a knowledge base)

What you will need

  • Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or similar
  • At least 1 year experience in similar positions
  • Fluency in Greek and English language, both written & spoken
  • Knowledge and troubleshooting skills on Microsoft Windows and Microsoft O365 platform
  • Basic knowledge and understanding on firewalls, security, networking (LAN/WAN, VPN technology etc.)
  • Basic knowledge on Microsoft Server (Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, SQL, etc.)
