A Day in the Life of a Technical Consultant

As a Technical Consultant, you will collaborate with banking professionals to manage core banking system implementation projects. Your role will involve a combination of client interactions, system integration, and implementation. You will need to thoroughly understand the client’s needs and business complexities, while also being knowledgeable about SDLC processes and core banking systems. Your responsibilities will extend beyond theoretical knowledge, as you guide clients through practical implementations and configuration processes.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Understand and address clients' unique business needs and challenges through regular interactions
• Bridge the gap between technical intricacies and client operational requirements
• Discuss functional solutions with the bank and help formulate the technical solutions
• Write SQL queries, packages, and scripts, and manage technical setups
• Ensure effective design, development, validation, and support activities aligned with client needs

What You’ll Need

• At least 3 years of professional experience in the banking sector
• In-depth knowledge of core banking systems, including modules and functionalities
• Familiarity with SDLC, particularly in the banking sector
• Proficiency in SQL scripting, queries, and packages
• Strong understanding of integration technologies, patterns, formats, and methodologies
• Familiarity with programming languages and operating systems
