Systems Engineer & IoT
Systems Administrator/LinuxOn behalf of our client, a global leader in sustainable recycling solutions, specializing in reverse vending machines and automatic sorting systems, we are currently looking for a Systems Engineer & IoT to join their team in Athens, Greece.
Your day-to-day
- Provide excellent customer service while gathering and analyzing customer requirements
- Assess product performance using analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Communicate effectively with R&D teams to ensure the right product development
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
- Troubleshoot technical issues, including configuration and network-related problems
What you will need
- IT education or relevant professional experience
- Intermediate-level knowledge of Linux systems (CLI, networking, troubleshooting)
- Basic understanding of computer networks
- Familiarity with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL (navigating and making changes via command line)
- Ability to use a multimeter for troubleshooting electrical issues
- Proficiency in Greek and English, both spoken and written
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
Bonus Skills
- Experience with programming languages (preferred: Java or Python)
- Knowledge of writing bash scripts
- Experience with using and configuring API solutions
