Senior Software Analyst

On behalf of our client, a Greece’s leading management and project management consulting firm, we are looking for a Senior Software Analyst to join its team.

Your day-to-day

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document software requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Develop detailed system specifications and diagrams to guide the development process and ensure clarity for developers
• Conduct business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize software solutions
• Participate in testing and validation phases to ensure that developed software meets specifications and is free from defects
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including software requirements, system designs, and testing procedures, to support ongoing development and future enhancements
• Provide support and maintenance for existing software systems, troubleshooting issues and offering technical solutions to ensure uninterrupted performance
• Collaborate closely with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery
• Stay current with software development life cycle (SDLC) best practices and maintain a strong understanding of system modeling tools like UML

What you will need

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Analyst or in a similar role, with proven experience in requirement gathering, system design, and analysis
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience with system modeling tools such as UML
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to assess and improve business processes
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• The ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
