Senior Front End Developer

On behalf of our client, an innovative global leader in onshore and indoor aquaculture, we are currently looking for a creative and passionate Senior Front End Developer, to join its software development team.

Your day-to-day

• Take basic specifications and ideas and turn them into complete, user-friendly frontend solutions
• Own the entire front-end development process, from conceptualizing the user interface to delivering a polished product
• Independently design and build intuitive, responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., Angular, React, Vue)
• Evaluate and decide on the best technologies, tools, and libraries for creating reusable components and ensuring a seamless user experience
• Think critically about UX/UI design to produce high-quality interfaces that enhance user interaction
• Work with backend developers and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth data integration and create efficient, scalable solutions
• Stay ahead of technological trends, pushing the boundaries of frontend development and advocating for best practices
• Work with libraries such as DevExtreme or Kendo UI, and utilize Ionic to build hybrid mobile applications

What you will need

• A BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3+ years of experience as a frontend developer, demonstrating expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue)
• Confident working independently, taking ideas from initial concept to fully functional interfaces with minimal supervision
• Technical skills include proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and familiarity with frontend development tools (Webpack, npm, etc.)
• A strong understanding of RESTful APIs and data integration with backend services
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD practices is essential
• A strong understanding of the MVC architectural pattern, ensuring structured and maintainable code
