On behalf of our client, a world leader in HVAC transportation solutions, we are currently looking for a talented Regional Sales Manager to join their dynamic team, in Singapore.

A day in the life of the Regional Sales Director
This role involves driving sales growth, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, lead efforts to grow the brand in the AP region. 

 

Your day-to-day

  • Develop and execute the business strategy to ensure achievement of the marine revenue targets, maximizing profits & increasing market share.
  • Maintain a regional mapping of the existing and potential marine market together with the regional marine team to develop and execute growth strategy within this market.
  • Develop, deploy and administer a market and customer development plan based upon co-value creation and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain a plan for new accounts and maintain relationships with the decision makers within existing accounts. Monitor competitive activity with accounts.
  • Serve as the point of reference for our customer related activities, including but not limited to key account management, strategy development and resource coordination such as sales reporting, forecasting, technical support, customer service, etc. 

 

  • Communicate appropriate roles, responsibilities, processes and tools to other team members as needed.
  • Own client relationship and ensure strong communication channels are in place.
  • Participate in external events to ensure our company is well presented and promoted as a leading sustainable partner to refrigerating solutions.
  • Continuously assess market practices and keep up to date with industry standards, new products, and services.
  • Contributes to the identification of potential cross-selling opportunities with targeted customers

What you will need

  • 5 years of Sales management or account/relationship management experience
  • Bachelor degree in logistics, engineering or equivalent or relevant practical experience in sales.
  • Previous experience in transport, refrigeration or engineering is preferred.
  • Proven track-record of success in sales or improvement projects is highly appreciated.
  • Fluent in English
  • Good command of computer skills: MS Office software, Siebel, Tableau, Oracle
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Planning and basic project management skills
  • Commercial skill
  • Mechanical and/or electronical advanced knowledge is an advantage
  • Ability to travel in the AP/SEA region
