Personal IT Manager

On behalf of our client, in the maritime sector, we are currently looking for a self-driven Personal IT Manager, to join its team. 

Your day-to-day

• Manage and maintain Windows Domain Infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex Windows internal issues
• Monitor network performance and ensure network security
• Implement security measures and monitor for potential security breaches
• Conduct regular system and software updates
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation tasks
• Provide technical support and resolve IT-related issues for end-users
• Collaborate with team members on IT projects and improvements
• Document IT processes, procedures, and configurations
• Assist with database management tasks as needed
• Participate in meetings to discuss IT strategies and improvements
• Stay updated with the latest IT trends and best practices
• Potentially manage or support maritime applications, if relevant
• Utilize and promote open-source tools and philosophies in projects

What you will need

• Four-year degree in CS, EE, Math, or equivalent experience
• Expertise in Windows Domain Infrastructure
• Solid understanding of networking
• Experience with windows internals and troubleshooting complex issues
• Security oriented mindset
• Database knowledge is a plus
• Fluent in spoken and written English
