Operations Manager

On behalf of our client, a key provider of Geospatial solutions in Greece, we are on the lookout for an Operations Manager who will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's daily operations, ensuring effective, efficient, and consistent execution of all processes aligned with strategic goals.

Your day-to-day

• Workflow Optimization and Administration: Ensure smooth operations across all departments, manage ISO 9001 quality systems, and handle daily administrative tasks, and multi-department collaboration.
• Project and Financial Management: Oversee budgets for research projects, manage timesheets, and process payments for contractors. Prepare and submit documentation for local and international competitions, tenders, and procurement calls while coordinating with certified auditors and accountants.
• Strategic Initiatives and Reporting: Propose opportunities and solutions and provide follow-ups with monthly reports. Stay updated on new competition announcements and procurement opportunities relevant to the company.
• Expense Management and Compliance: Collect invoices, maintain expense platforms, and prepare certification requests while ensuring compliance with quality and financial standards.

What you will need

• Preferably Degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills, with fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while consistently meeting deadlines.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or 27001 quality management systems and project management in the Geospatial field is highly desirable.
• Additional qualifications such as a Master’s degree in Business Administration or Economics, and familiarity with ESIDIS and OPSKE systems, will be considered an asset. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams as well as independently.
