Java Developer

On behalf of our client, one of the world’s leading owners and providers of containerships and bulk carriers for charter, we are currently looking for a self-driven Java Developer, to join its Technology Team at company’s HQs in Palaio Faliro, Athens.

Your day-to-day

• Participation in all phases of the software development process, including creation of requirements, design, development and testing
• Software development in close coordination with the lead developer and application supervisors
• Error analysis and solution remedying in the existing software landscape
• Compliance with the Group's own development guidelines
• Autonomous implementation of requirements

What you will need

• Degree in Computer Science or relevant educational background
• At least 2 years of Java experience designing, building and testing Spring Boot applications
• Experience with CD/CI
• Experience in system and database modelling is a plus
• Experience in the creation and execution of (automated) tests is a plus
• Strong knowledge of English (both spoken and written)
• Strong teamwork, reliability and communication skills
• Ability to work independently
