On behalf of our client, a leading company in the Energy sector, we are seeking an IT Project Manager to join their growing team in Athens.

Your Day-to-Day

As an IT Project Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the planning and implementation of IT projects, ensuring their successful completion from inception to deployment. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing project roadmaps and prioritizing activities to align with business priorities.

  • Identifying business problems through in-depth investigation and technical and non-technical analysis.

  • Planning and negotiating project roadmaps with internal stakeholders and reporting project status to the steering committee to meet critical business needs.

  • Organizing, implementing, and monitoring major IT transformation projects, including migration, installation, and customizations.

  • Effectively allocating budgets within set limitations and tracking IT CapEx.

  • Organizing the IT Demand and Planning team for projects and analysis.

  • Monitoring system configuration changes and managing vendor-delivered configurations.

  • Managing outsourced partners, including vendors and contractors.

What You Will Need

To thrive in this role, you should bring:

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

  • Project Management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE II; certifications as a Scrum Master and in Agile Management will be considered a plus.

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in large-scale enterprises managing projects related to CRM, Billing, ERP, and Web Development solutions—preferably in the Energy or Telecommunications sector.

  • The ability to lead projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

  • A strong understanding of IT solutions within the sector.

  • Working knowledge of MS Project, Office 365 solutions, and tools such as Jira, Redmine, ClickUp, Monday, Asana, etc.
