IT Executive / Support IT Engineer
Technical Support EngineerOn behalf of our client, a leading player in the international airport sector, we are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join an exciting project. This role is essential in ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining office systems, supporting employees with technical issues, and ensuring compliance with corporate IT policies. Main location in Athens, Greece, with occasional travel to project sites as required by business needs.
Your Day-to-Day
• Install and configure computer hardware, software, networks, applications, and printers.
• Monitor and maintain user systems, video conferencing (VC), and networks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot PC, laptop, network, and software issues.
• Respond to and resolve technical support calls from employees.
• Support the rollout of new applications and IT solutions.
• Coordinate with the corporate IT team to implement and maintain IT policies.
• Keep records of technical issues and solutions for future reference.
• Maintain asset records for IT equipment.
• Travel to project sites as required to provide on-site IT support.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in ICT back-office support.
• Strong knowledge of basic network setup and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
