Head of Engineering Services (Skouries Project)

On behalf of our client, a well-established company in the construction area, we are currently looking for a self-driven Head of Engineering Services, to join their construction team based in Skouries, Chalkidiki..

A day in the life of a Head of Engineering Services

• Manage big construction projects and achieve company's objectives
• Supervise and organize construction projects in terms of quality, time and cost
• Coordinate and communicate with construction managers
• Assist in the financial management and cost control of projects & sector
• Develop organizational and improvement guidelines
• Collaborate with group procurement & cost estimations 
• Be responsible for customer relationship management
• Team building & developing
• Collaborate and report to Technical Director

Qualifications

• University Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related field)
• Experience in business construction projects
• Experience in coordinating or managing engineers, projects and customer relationship
• Project management of multi-disciplinary construction teams
• Excellent knowledge of English language
• Experience with MS Project is very good to have, understanding of ERP systems is nice to have
• Experience in costing and understanding of financial management, in correspondence to construction, is a plus

Work Experience

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in management / coordinating roles and around 10 years of construction experience
• Previous experience in roles such as: Construction Manager, Site Manager, Project Manager, Site Engineer, Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer or other related role
