FSM Engineer

On behalf of our client, in the maritime sector, we are currently looking for a self-driven FSM Engineer, to join its team. 

Your day-to-day

• Provide customer support and resolve technical issues
• Manage and maintain Microsoft domain and storage systems (NAS)
• Configure and troubleshoot networking products such as routers and switches
• Monitor network performance and ensure optimal operation
• Implement and manage firewall settings for network security
• Utilize and apply knowledge of OSI Layer and TCP/IP networking in daily tasks
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to understand and address technical issues
• Document and update IT processes, procedures, and configurations
• Participate in team meetings to discuss and plan IT projects and strategies
• Stay updated with the latest networking products and technologies
• Collaborate with team members to improve customer support services
• Ensure compliance with company policies and IT best practices
• Provide training and support to customers on networking products and technology
• Utilize Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) knowledge in network management and troubleshooting

What you will need

• Four-year degree in Computer Engineering/Science, Telecommunications or equivalent
• Experience in customer support
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• Good understanding of OSI Layer, TCP/IP networking and firewall
• IT skills in the area of Microsoft domain, Storage systems (NAS) 
• Good understanding in networking products and technology such as routing and switching
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Great communication and teamwork skills
• Fulfilled military obligations
