Front-end Developer

On behalf of our client, a non-profit company that develops an impactful language-learning application, we are looking for a Front-end Engineer to join its team based in Nicosia, Cyprus.

A day in the life of a ‘Back-end Engineer’

Υour role includes Angular/Typescript application development while being present to the full software development life-cycle, from concept to design and testing. The ecosystem is based on a service oriented architecture, Spring Boot microservices dockerized on Azure Kubernetes.

Your day-to-day

• Build advanced front end applications and develop software programs on the Angular platform
• Optimize applications performance and recommend software upgrades for existing systems
• Contribute in all phases of the development life-cycle, prepare and produce releases of software components
• Monitor and improve application reliability and present innovative ideas for system improvements
• Produce detailed specifications and implement the program codes accordingly
• Follow test driven development through continuous integration and agile methodologies

What you will need

• Develop and maintain client-facing web applications using Angular.
• Work with TypeScript, Material Design, and CSS to create intuitive user interfaces.
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to structure scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Ensure clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following best practices.
