DevOps Engineer

On behalf of our client, an innovative ICT company specialized in the development of integrated information systems and high-demand applications built in Cloud Computing architecture, we are currently looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer, to join the technical team in Piraeus, Attiki, Greece.

Your day-to-day

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing
• Implement and manage real-time data processing pipelines using tools such as Apache Kafka or Apache Nifi
• Oversee user storage solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency
• Collaborate closely with software engineers and system architects to ensure seamless integration
• Continuously monitor and optimize system performance

What you will need

• Proven experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Expertise in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar
• Familiarity with container orchestration, infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience in real-time data streaming and handling large datasets
• Strong knowledge of security best practices and managing cloud-based infrastructure
• Experience in Scripting (Python, Bash) and automation
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams
