On behalf of our client, a boutique construction company specialized in high-end Residential & Hospitality projects, we are currently looking for a self-driven Construction Design Manager - Architect Engineer, to join their team based in Athens.

A day in the life of a Construction Design Manager - Architect Engineer

As a Construction Design Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all design-related aspects of the company's construction projects, ensuring that all design processes are seamlessly integrated and executed efficiently. This role is pivotal in maintaining project schedules and facilitating smooth workflows, thereby ensuring that construction activities progress without delays.

Your day to day

• Coordinate and manage the design processes involved in a construction project, ensuring that drawings are ready on time, reviewing designs and making them suitable & available to the appropriate people involved
• Update existing construction drawings to become more specific to the project (floor plans, ceiling plans, sections, elevations, interiors, construction details)
• Collaborating with Site Engineers, Designers, and other Consultants to determine the design specifications of each project.
• Maintain records and documents throughout each project
• Assess and manage risks connected with design
• Occasional site visits

What you will need

• 5+ years of experience in Architectural Engineering role focused on Architectural implementation studies
• In-depth knowledge of construction detailing, materials, and building systems
• Excellent understanding of construction codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English in both writing and speaking is a prerequisite.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
